This morning, after the big sisters were at school and while the little sister was still sleeping, Ben was hard at work.  He dictated a story for me to write down. Then he changed roles from author to illustrator, as he asked me to remind him what each page said.



What you see there is our hero falling into the water, where he was attacked by a snake.

Exciting, no?

SPOILER ALERT: The boy does eventually defeat the snake and then a giant spider, by using his cheek-gun and eventually crawls to safety through a long tunnel.  He is reunited with his family and the story ends with him safely at home.  

Look for "The Boy Who Was Far, Far Away" to hit the New York Times Bestseller List very soon.  This is going to be big.
